At our monthly meetings each member reads out the essay they have written - with everyone using the same the topic or title suggested at our previous meeting. It is really interesting to hear the very different interpretations of the same topic!

As a group we discuss each others' essays and offer positive comments, either commending the piece entirely, or maybe discussing ways it could be slightly changed.

Then a break for a cup of tea or coffee when everyone can have a chat and write a title suggestion for our next month's essay on small pieces of paper which are folded and put into a bowl with one taken out and revealed.

A relaxed, friendly group who enjoy writing and chatting. We produce a diverse range of stories and poetry on a variety of topics. We welcome new members, anyone interested please contact Jackie.  It could be that this is the “write” time to join us!
